The windows at 7-Eleven are all fogged up at 1 a.m. The temperature inside must be about 25 degrees below zero, which can only be so that people get in and out as fast as possible. I was looking around trying to figure out what possibly needed to be kept that cold....the rotating hot dogs? no. the row of doritos? no. the already refrigerated drinks...um, no?
oh! i know. 7-Eleven is keeping the clothing stores in business here because, even though it's still 85 degrees during the day, the stores are selling winter sweaters, UGG boots, and wool hats. I could not make this stuff up...and the best part is that people are actually wearing these ridiculous clothes. Though, to be fair, it does drop down to a chilly 70 degrees at night.
